Happy Friday! On Friday’s I recap some great finds from around the web. The weather here has been amazing lately, hope you have something fun planned for your weekend!
great FABRIC: Love, love this new line from Birch Fabrics called Yay Day. It looks like it feels divine and if I weren’t holding myself to a strict no fabric buying fast I would gobble it up!
to whet your APPETITE: The weather is teasing me with Fall and I’m getting ready to gear up the crock pot for some good autumn soups. I’ve pinned a handful of new ones onto my dinner board.
be NEAT (as in organized): This seems like such a simple thing, but filing is my one downfall. I love the idea of using these brown envelopes to organize the family filing system. Might be on my to do list this winter for sure.
a TUTORIAL to do: Sarah Jane put out this awesome mermaid doll tutorial this week. It is super adorable!
becoming more AWARE: I stumbled upon this awesome website this past week by Alisa Burke. She offers what looks to be amazing art/craft classes that I have on my to do list. The first one on my list is her free “finding your muse” workshop. Love it.
something to SEW: Love this cute candy corn inspired dress I saw on the Oliver + S blog.
to TRIM my house with: Hopefully, hopefully we’ll have a new front door (no longer hideously red) and maybe even a painted front porch this year…that would greatly inspire me to decorate my stoop like this for the Fall.
ILLUSTRATION to stitch: Love this little girl on a swing. Simple and timeless.
CUTE: this is a fabulous and easy paper puppet theater. It’s on our to do list this weekend.
