About Me
Some other blogs I often read have posted a little page about them, so I thought I would try.
I am a thirty something (ok 33) year old stay at home mom. I was working from home for a while, but realized that working from home is not my strength.
My husband is a CADD technician at a local civil engineering group. He is a woodworker at heart and if we could figure out how to afford and where to put some woodworking tools we would do it in a heartbeat. He has created much of the furniture in our house and is planning some more soon.
Little Rooster is our nearly 5 year old little boy. I worked for the first 3 1/2 years of his life as a teacher and the day we had our daughter and I stopped working was a big life change for both of us. He is a people person, loves to chat with anyone and has the craziest imagination.
Little Chick is a little over one and is everything that her brother is not. She is very feisty and is a crazy cuddler…but a horrible sleeper! She does have her brother’s sense of humor and it has been such a joy to see her little personality blossoming lately.
I spend my nap times surfing the net (way more than I should), blogging (which I love), sewing and I have this great desire to start making things of my own instead of just following a pattern.
My favorite thing to do in the afternoon is have a cup of hot tea and read. Sometimes I’ll watch the Ellen show and do some needlework and sometimes (although very rarely) I’ll actually take a nap.

Hi! I found your site through Etsy and am looking for a hand-embroidered blue onesie, wondering if you would be interested in a custom order? I’m new to etsy…so I didn’t know if I should write you from there, or here – so I chose here! Please email me if you’re interested.
Thank you!

Hello,
I just found your website and noticed “Lilah” on the right side. I went to their site and had no way of contacting them. Can you please help me find an email for this family. My daughter has went through this exact same thing and is now 31. I want so badly to talk with them, maybe some help or encouragement. Thank you.
Hi Daisy,
I’m Julie, the editor of “Mamapedia Voices”, and we feature guest bloggers on Mamapedia, a site for Moms all across the country. I’ve just found your blog, and would like to invite you write a piece which could be featured on our site.
Though Mamapedia Voices has just started out, it is already receiving a lot of attention, both on our site, on our guest bloggers’ sites, and beyond. We promote our featured guest bloggers through emails, Twitter, Facebook and more. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grow your audience!
If you would like to participate, please take a look at Mamapedia Voices. Next, sign up here http://bit.ly/UTCGU to be on the blogger roster, and then you will be able to see the complete (and easy) instructions for submitting a piece for consideration.
Also, because we like your blog, please download a recognition badge from us- there are many fun designs to choose from here: http://www.mamapedia.com/voices/blogger_badge
Thank you, and I look forward to reading more of your work!
Best wishes,
Julie D’Agostino
